The PowerBoat Guide had this to say:
With the introduction of the 351 Sedan (called the 35 Convertible in 2001 - 03), Silverton engineers introduced a dramatically different approach to the design of the modern family cruiser. All manufacturers recognize the appeal of a roomy interior, but Silverton made it happen with the introduction of their "SideWalk" concept, a series of molded steps on the starboard side of the boat leading from the fore-deck up to the fly-bridge and then down again to the cockpit. The result of the clever design is a spacious full-width salon with the floor space of a much larger boat. Built on a modified-V hull with prop pockets, the engines are located beneath the the cockpit rather than under the salon with allows the cabin floor to sit low in the hull. Lacking side decks, the interior is huge and the apartment-sized galley with be a real crowd-pleaser. The fly-bride is arranged with a walk-around center helm with passenger seating forward. A very popular boat!
