Introduced in 1989 as a replacement for Silverton's previous 34 convertibles this new,more rakish Silverton 34 was built with additional fuel capacity and an improved bottom design for better overall performance. The hull construction is solid fiberglass with a deeper V than her predecessor which provides more comfort underway.
With her extended deckhouse and spacious cockpit, its clear she was designed with family crusing in mind as well as fishing. The galley-and dinette-down floor plan has a single stateroom,and the salon is finished out with pastel fabrics and oak woodwork. Full wraparound cabin windows make the interior seem wide open and very comfortable.
The hardtop flybridge-with helm foward-is big for a 34 footer and features include a swimplatform-transom door, bow pulpit with windlass and outriggers. New customers can take advantage of a 50% discount on slip and storage at an upscale RI marina. There is no or use tax in RI. She is a great move up from cramped express boats.
