The Shamrock 246 Walkaround has a nine-foot cushioned berth, a galley that includes a sink and storage, plus a portable marine head. The helm console has full instrumentation, a compass, and clever chart hold-down straps on top of the cabin door hatch. The deep, roomy cockpit with a full transom provides added security and has a large fish box, baitwell, and convenient bait prep center built right into the transom. All Grand Slam models feature a convenient anchor locker and roller. The optional tournament T-top can be equipped with a full canvas enclosure. The 246 Walkaround has Shamrock's SP II drive system, which is found on all Grand Slam models - a shallower propshaft angle lets the boat jump on plane quicker and improves handling. The hydrodynamically-designed pocket in the hull bottom directs a steady flow of water to the prop and provides improved shallow water capability. This system also employs a hull design that combines a smooth, offshore ride with exceptional stability.
