The Seaward 26RK is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. The deck is cored with Divinycell foam for weight . What make this different from every other trailer able s/v is a fractional sloop rig; a nearly plumb stem; an open, walk-through transom; a vertically retractable, transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller or optional wheel and a retractable, lead-cored, lifting keel. It displacement weight of 3,800 lb .
The standard boat has a retracting keel and rudder (hence the RK designation). This allows draft of the boat to be adjusted via an electric winch from 18-inches to 6 feet. It has a fairly large V-berth, galley, wet head, salon and a quarter berth. You can sleep 4 people on board but it would be crowded once you add everyone's equipment and gear.
The trailer has brand new brakes and a new surge brake cylinder. This vessel is equipped with Solar panels 300W. Brand new two flooded batteries and one AGM battery, 1000W inverter, small fridge. Gas stove. Enough energy to be autonomous on the anchor.
When you want to anchor the Delta anchor 22lb with 90 foot chain, spare Danforth with 25 foot chain, and 90 feet of line makes it easy.
