Our test boat was equipped with an optional 250 horsepower Mercury Verado four-stroke outboard, with standard power being 175 horsepower and a 200 horsepower option also available. Recognizing the challenges of daily engine checks on outboards, Sea Ray designed platforms on either side of the engine well, providing secure footing for maintenance tasks. This design facilitates easy removal of the engine cowl and access to routine checks and minor maintenance, enhancing overall usability.
