A good-looking cruiser even today with her wraparound windshield and integrated swim platform, the 280 rides on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a flared bow, and relatively wide 10-foot 6-inch beam. Below, the Sundancer's wide-open cabin layout delivers comfortable overnight accommodations for as many as six adults. The floorplan is arranged in the conventional manner with V-berths forward and a wide double-berth in the good-sixed midcabin. Curtains are used for privacy in both staterooms, and the dinette converts into a double berth for extra overnight guests. Topside, visibility from the elevated double helm seat is excellent, and bench seating in the cockpit will accommodate several guests. A pair of hatches in the cockpit sole provide good access to the engines.
