Accessed from the aft cockpit, the engine room of the L650 impresses with its spaciousness, offering clearance ranging from 4 feet 1 inch to 4 feet 10 inches as one moves forward. The twin CAT C18 Acert engines are flanked by fuel tanks on either side, with dual fuel filters allowing for on-the-fly changes. A substantial 27.5 kW generator is standard, necessary to power the dual Seakeeper gyros also included as standard equipment.
