Vessel Walkthrough
Welcome aboard this 2003 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer, a beautifully designed express cruiser that combines impressive space, comfortable accommodations, and the performance and handling you expect from Sea Ray. From the spacious cockpit and integrated swim platform to the well-appointed interior, the 500 Sundancer is designed for entertaining, cruising, and extended time on the water.
Swim Platform and Cockpit
Starting aft, the hydraulic swim platform provides easy access from the dock or water and is a convenient area for enjoying time at anchor.
Two steps up from the swim platform, the port-side door provides access to the spacious and versatile cockpit, which is designed with entertaining and relaxation in mind. The cockpit features comfortable seating, cockpit air, a massive hardtop, a large curved aft bench, an additional bench to starboard, and a cockpit table.
Immediately to port is a countertop with an under-counter refrigerator and a TV mounted above for entertainment. The cockpit is enclosed with large windows, fwd isinglass, and an aft canvas cover that has large isinglass windows, providing protection from the elements while maintaining an open and comfortable atmosphere.
Steps on both the port and starboard sides of the cockpit lead to the side decks and all the way forward to the bow. There is plenty of room throughout the cockpit for guests to relax and enjoy the boat while underway or at the dock.
Helm
The raised helm station, is positioned to starboard. The helm features a captain's chair along with opposing companion seating, allowing guests to remain close to the captain while underway.
The helm station provides the captain with excellent visibility and a comfortable operating position. It is equipped with engine instrumentation, navigation electronics, steering and throttle controls, and all the necessary equipment for confidently operating the vessel.
The surrounding windshield and isinglass provides protection from the elements while offering excellent visibility underway.
Salon and Galley
To port of the helm, a door and steps lead down into the salon, where you'll find a warm and inviting interior with plenty of natural light.
To starboard is the main salon seating area, featuring comfortable seating along the aft and starboard sides, an oval-shaped glossy nesting table with a stool set, and a large aft mirror. To port is additional cabinetry and a countertop with a large mirror, along with the entertainment center.
Moving forward on the starboard side is the well-appointed galley, which is equipped for extended stays aboard. It offers ample counter space, storage, and the necessary appliances for preparing meals while cruising such as a 2-burner cooktop stove, Panasonic microwave oven, and refrigerator.
Accommodations and Heads
The 2003 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer offers a spacious accommodation layout with comfortable sleeping areas for family and guests, along with two well-appointed heads.
Master Stateroom
All the way forward is the private master stateroom, which features a comfortable double berth with storage underneath. Additional hanging storage is located on both sides of the berth.
