Permission to come aboard this 1990 Sea Ray 420 Sundancer located in Michigan City Indiana. Built in 1990, the 420 Sundancer was a significant addition to the Sea Ray family of boats in that it was their entry into the large sport yacht classification.

First impression is that at 42 ft this boat will give you confidence to cruise most anywhere you may like on the Great Lakes. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar engines you have at your disposal 750 horsepower. With a beam of just short of 14', the 420 Sundancer is a lot of boat.

The aft deck has plenty of space for passengers with a wet bar on the port side. The pictures do not give it justice, as at the time of listing, the upholstery and deck had not been cleaned for storage. But the seating is in physically good shape. The seller owns a marine shop and clearly puts his customers first.

The helm includes the full array of instrumentation including Windlass control, trim tabs and helm switch controls.

The cabin features a full galley, a full head with large shower, and three areas for accommodating overnight guests. The Sea Ray has ample Maple cabinetry storage with two large cedar-lined hanging lockers. A large aft settee area converts to a berth for two as does a U-shaped dinette midships. The dinette is starboard side opposite the galley with the full refrigerator freezer stove microwave and built-in coffee maker.
