This 2001 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer express cruiser has had the best of care and shows very little use with twin low-hour 370HP Merc Horizon 8.1L engines with only 138 Hours and a 7Kw Westerbeke Generator with only 657 hours. Its wide 13' beam and total LOA of 42' with the swim platform, gives this sleek cruiser the appearance of a much larger yacht. "Bad Uncle" is located at the highly-desirable and sought-after St. Petersburg Municipal Marina and the slip is Transferable so you can avoid a One Year wait and have the option to live-aboard if desired.
Here's what the Powerboat Guide has to say about this model:
"Great styling has long been a Sea Ray trademark, and while few American sportboats are as glamorous as their European counterparts the quality found in late-model Sundancers is second to none. Built on a fully cored deep-V hull with a wide beam, few imports can match the spacious interior of the 380 Sundancer
with her superb galley (including a full-size refrigerator), excellent storage, and wide-open floorplan.
The layout is typical of most Sundancers with double berths fore and aft and a sofa in the salon that converts to a double berth for extra guests. The midcabin stateroom serves as a conversation area during the day, and then electrically converts into a bed at night. A door separates the forward stateroom from the main cabin, while a curtain provides privacy for the midcabin. On deck, the spacious cockpit provides wraparound seating for six to seven and comes with a wet bar, fender storage, and a removable table that converts into a sun pad. An electric hatch provides access to a rather compact engine compartment. Standard 370hp V-drive inboards cruise at 18 knots (mid 20s top)."
With the exception of a few minor interior cabinetry delaminated veneer spots in the Salon, (a factory defect), this Sea Ray 380 Sundancer is in exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition. Her hull was detailed in September 2017 and she received annual mechanical and engine services in the Spring and Summer of 2017 & new risers and manifolds in 2015; so she is ready for a tough marine survey and appears ready to go cruising. So, don't delay; call today to schedule a personal inspection because this one is priced to be the next 2001 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer to sell.
