The Sea Ray 380 Aft Cabin delivers generous length and beam to comfortably accommodate guests and activities. Her design is distinguished by smooth, clean lines and a walkway to the foredeck with no steps-a practical feature that enhances safe and easy movement forward.The forward-mounted bridge helm provides exceptional visibility forward and aft while freeing up the bridge for abundant entertaining space. The side-mounted helm station comfortably accommodates electronics with room for additional instruments. Two adjustable captain's chairs position the captain and navigator at an ideal vantage point, while a forward-facing aft seat offers guests an equally impressive view. The bridge is equipped with snap-in carpet liner, burl instrument panels, courtesy lights, steel safety rails, and a Bimini top with full enclosure. New wood-look flooring has been installed on both the bridge and aft decK. Designed for all-weather enjoyment, the aft deck features a fiberglass hardtop and full enclosure with port and starboard acrylic entry doors. Isinglass was replaced three years ago. On deck you will find a wet bar with ice maker, sink, trash receptacle, grab handles, beverage holders, and a secure bottle storage cabinet. A transom door leads to the wide add-on swim platform, which includes a concealed stainless steel boarding ladder.
Power is supplied by twin Crusader 7.4L (454 cubic inch) V8 inboard gas engines-legendary big-block marine powerplants based on the GM Mark IV/Gen VI architecture, known for high torque, durability, and reliability. Each engine produces 380 horsepower with efficient electronic fuel injection (EFI) and as stated both long blocks replaced factory new in 2020.
Critical mechanical upgrades completed in 2020:
· New GM factory long blocks installed on both engines 2020
· Only 200 hours on the new long blocks
· New exhaust hoses and raw water hoses
· New spark plugs and injectors
Additional standard mechanical features include hydraulic steering, a patented underwater exhaust system, an emergency start system, and freshwater engine cooling. A high water bilge pump with systems monitor panel is located at the helm.
