Why select "Rocket Man II" over other listings:
This is a BIG boat - Don't let the moniker "38 SunDancer" fool you - this is a 42 foot boat!
Low engine hours (325) and brand new camper canvas. All services are up to date. Fresh water boat until about a year and a half ago. Many upgrades like ultra-blue lighting and top of the line Garmin "touch screen" electronics!
Price below market to sell fast! This offering will not disappoint!
The SeaRay 380 SunDancer represents one of the most versatile layouts of any production model in this size range. The expansive interior volume features two staterooms on opposite ends of the boat, allowing for maximum privacy for both owners and guests. There is plenty of sleeping space on board, with a mid-cabin under the helm, a sofa in the salon which converts into a double berth, and of course a private owner's stateroom located forward with a hard closing door.
The cockpit helm is equipped with the all new "top of the line" marine electronics positioned ergonomically for the discerning Captain with visibility from the helm being excellent both forward and aft. The forward leaning fiberglass arch and clean style lines running from the bow to the trailing end of the swim deck provides the classic and timeless appearance that SeaRays are known for.
The cockpit area offers an adjustable bucket type helm seat with a wet bar with sink with drink refrigerator on the port side for handy refills and reduces traffic down below. The spacious U-Shape lounge passenger seating is across on the starboard side with a seating aft along the transom and can quickly convert into a sun pad, and there is a removable table for dining.
The interior layout offers a well-equipped galley with storage on the port side. The dual entry heard is forward on the port side with doors connecting to the master and salon. Across is the single entry fully enclosed hot shower compartment. The dinette area is across from the galley on the starboard side with the midship stateroom located directly under the bridge deck and the companionway entrance steps leading up to the cockpit area.
Forward access to the bow is provided via wide port and starboard walk ways with good hand holds all the way forward. Deck hardware is substantial both in quality and quantity being strategically located for ease of securing the vessel in docking and anchoring. The diamond cut pattern deck non-skid is throughout and offers sure footing and ease of cleaning.
The transom door is positioned on the port side for access to the fiberglass swim platform which offers an integrated pull out and down swim boarding ladder and hot and cold transom shower. This arrangement makes for a one straight line from swim platform to the companionway door, and that makes it easy when you're bringing a week's worth of groceries. Abundant cockpit storage lockers, convenient catch bins, and drink holders are located throughout.
Owner regrettably has to pass this gem onto another loving owner and she has less than 325 hours on the hobbs. All but the last year and a half of her ownership was in fresh water.
