The Sea Ray 340 Express to this day remains one of Sea Ray's most popular express cruisers. This cruiser recently underwent a major overhaul with the installation of new, twin Marine Power 5.7L 325 hp power plants with 160 hours, rebuilt transmissions, and new cutlass bearings. Other recent improvements include new AGM batteries, charging system, and fresh canvas throughout.
The aft deck is spacious and open yet can be easily enclosed with the camper style navy blue canvas with eising glass that is in great condition! A locking transom gate leads to the over sized swim platform complete with RIB cradle and swim ladder. The upholstery is in good condition and the woodwork throughout the vessel has been exceptionally well maintained. The foredeck on the 340 Express offers ample room to lounge and entertain and can be easily and safely accessed thanks to the wide side decks, wrap around bow rail, and stainless steel handholds on either side of the vessel.
The salon has a very bright and welcoming feel with natural light pouring in through the large overhead windows and over sized hatch that leads just forward of the windscreen on the foredeck. The dinette offers seating for four, and can be easily converted into a double berth. The galley is well equipped even by modern standards with a full size three burner range, microwave oven, generously sized fridge with freezer, spice rack, and lots of cabinetry and drawers for provisions! The very comfortable and well sized forward cabin features a queen size bed, hanging locker to port, and vanity to starboard. The lighting is exceptional thanks to a large overhead hatch, four port lights, and overhead lighting. The head is amid-ship starboard and includes a full size marine toilet, sink, shower, and both overhead and under sink storage.
