The 1986 Sea Ray 268 Sundancer express cruiser is in good condition and
has been well maintained by professional marine mechanics. The hull is in very
good condition and was recently bottom painted. The boat has been exclusively
used on the Great Lakes waterways, no salt water use. The boat has been stored
indoors during the winter months. The 27 foot Sea Ray 268 Sundancer fiberglass
express cruiser with a 8 ½ foot beam is just right for cruising the lakes, fishing,
and enjoying weekend trips and activities. The vessel is powered by a rebuilt
Mercuiser AlphaOne 260/V8 engine/out-drive with less than 80 hours on the
rebuilt motor (560 hours on original boat hour meter). The gas tank will hold 100
gallons and the on board gas has been stabilized. An oil change device has been
installed that greatly helps when motor oil changes are due. An automatic fire
extinguisher system is mounted in the engine compartment. Additional fire
extinguishers are also mounted in the cockpit and salon area.
The 268 Sundancer can sleep up to 6 people in the forward berth, the mid
berth/lounge area, along with the dinette. The galley includes a dinette with
seating and a table top/drop leaf, a large sink with hot and cold water, a two burner
electric/alcohol stove, Norcold frig/freezer, lots of storage space and a number of
electric outlets. There is a stereo radio/CD in the dining area with quality marine
speakers in the forward berth and the cockpit. There is a stand up shower-head
area with a chemical/pump out toilet (Porta Potty), along with a shower and sink
with hot and cold water. Fresh water is stored in a 25 gallon water tank with
pressurized water by a marine water pump. The on board electric hot water heater
is also very nice to have.
