2008 Sea Ray 185 Sport w/3.0L 135 HP Mercruiser Engine.  Sits On a 2008 Shoreland'r Single Axle Galvanized Bunk Trailer with Brakes.  This Sea ray 185 is for sale by the original owner. The boat was purchased new at MarineMax.   BOAT HAS BEEN AT OUR MARINA ON LAKE HOPATCONG SINCE 2009. The boat has 278 hours on the engine hour meter. The boat is equipped as original with Tow-Tone Gel Coat graphics with blue trim and blue canvas. The galvanized trailer has hydraulic surge brakes and a swing-away tongue.  Other Features Include:  Bow & Cockpit Covers, Snap In Carpet, Twin Bucket Seats w/Full Bench Seat, Large Sun Pad, Ski Locker, Tilt Steering, Bimini Top w/Boot and a nice Coast Guard Package.

Overview

The C-Ray 185 Sport is a versatile family boat measuring 19 feet 8 inches in length overall with a beam of 7 feet 3 inches. Weighing 2,600 pounds dry, it is easily trailerable by most family vehicles. The boat comes standard with a 135 horsepower MerCruiser 3.0 liter engine paired with an Alpha 1 stern drive, and it holds a total fuel capacity of 26 gallons. Optional power upgrades include either a 190 or 220 horsepower version of the MerCruiser 4.3 liter MPI engine.

Exterior Design and Deck Layout

The 185 Sport features an extra deep cockpit averaging just over 30 inches in height, enhancing safety and comfort for family use. The swim ladder is thoughtfully positioned on the starboard side of the extended swim platform, facilitating safer reboarding especially with the stern drive configuration. Six stainless steel cleats are strategically placed to accommodate various dock configurations, and all hardware throughout the boat is stainless steel, reflecting C-Ray's commitment to durability and quality. The sun pad opens in a gullwing fashion, allowing safe and convenient access to the engine compartment and storage areas on both port and starboard sides while on the water.

Instruments are backlit with glass lenses and feature low-glare night lighting, displaying essential information such as fuel level, oil pressure, speed, tachometer, trim, and water temperature. These gauges are mounted within easy sight lines above the steering wheel and below a small sun visor. Switches are conveniently located to either side of the wheel, and the throttle is positioned to allow the operator to comfortably rest their arm during engine adjustments.
