The current, original owners of "Pac Bay" accepted her delivery in fall 2020 in Newport Beach, CA. She was ordered with almost all optional equipment offered by Scout when she was built and was the last 420 built prior to the introduction of the updated 425 LXF. They have used her to play in the waters of Southern California, trips fishing, entertaining, out to Catalina and enjoying Avalon. She has been lightly, privately used; her owners have heaped consistent maintenance on her meeting every demand. She has terrific performance run over to Avalon, lunch at the Bluewater Grill and back to the marina for early evening cocktails at the yacht club. Being as quick as she is you don't have to leave the dock before sunrise to fish the latest hot spot, or to be in your favorite dive spot. The owners' plans have changed even though they have truly loved and enjoyed "Pac Bay" it is time for something a little different for more aquatic adventures, to make more fantastic memories. For our east coast friends, we have obtained estimates to transport her from her current location to the east coast at thirty-five thousand dollars, if you are wanting your new 420 Scout east of Interstate five it is an easy transport!

The Scout 420 center console is a feature filled multipurpose boat, quick and agile. With plenty of space to entertain, sun bath, she also features a full cabin with galley, enclosed head and sleeping area. Entry on to the boat is through a transom door at the starboard quarter. Upon entry it is evident she is well suited for the serious angler in deck fish box with ice chipper, 88-gallon live well, tackle center, seven flush mount rod holders, cockpit deck light she can be as serious fishing machine as an owner could want. Making your way forward is the lower helm station fully equipped with the latest technology to assist the owner navigate the most unfamiliar water ways. Making your way forward along the flush and flat deck is a large sunbathe area and forward of this area is a dinette with a table raised/lowered by electrical ram, add in filler cushion and you have a massive area for soaking up sun. Down the portside is found the cabin entry, granting access to the galley head and dinette and abundant storage. The galley features a Muane microwave, Kenyon two burner electric cooktop, single stainless-steel sink, pressure hot and cold water with a 110-volt AC Raritan hot water heater and a under the counter drawer Vifrifrigo refrigerator. The head is located aft having a fresh water flushing Tecma freshwater flush head, wash basin and shower. To port is a credenza and storage cabinets. A full dinette is in the forward section of the cabin that also converts to a large queen-sized berth, for those nights when the owner stays over. Other cabin features include a 32” Vizoi LED flat screen tv, Nesea cd player. Located on port and starboard side are two large windows that flood the cabin with natural light and two opening ports allowing cross ventilation of this space, 110-volt ac outlets.
