Get out, get wet, get on a boat!! Clean it up and enjoy some cheap fun on the water.
This 160 Scout has a legendary ride quality you simply cannot find on any other small coastal boat on the market. Sure, it looks a little dingy, might smell a little musty, and maybe even has a hint of a questionable past, but we all know that's what makes a great story with your mates when you headed out to your favorite surf spot with a legal beverage or two. It does run, but more like a vintage VW Beetle than a sewing machine really. For this money, what can you expect. Give it a good scrub and add a quick filter and oil change and go from there. This is a wonderful platform for so much fun on the ICW and coastal quests in our water rich region. Besides, your beautiful partner (him or her) will stand out rather than the boat taking top billing everywhere you go. Bump the dock at your favorite restaurant or bring the wet dog that will get hair and sand all over it. Who cares! Just enjoy the whole reason for going boating...to be on the water in the sun.
This can be easily seen on the included trailer (though I might not travel too far with it) at Marine Mart in Southport and make your own judgements while we discuss just how much fun you know this classic really is. Bring your couch coins and some cash and let's make it happen for you. Contact Tim Hicks with Mike Stidham Yachts to get the boat floating, if you know what I mean!
