The 1988 Scarab Meteor 5000 was a customized and limited production run for the manufacturer. The previous owner completely restored and customized in 2004.
Sellers Comments: Very few Meteors ever made. This is the nicest Meteor in existence. You can carry 12 people at 60 MPH and crush the waves comfortably. It is a good family and friends boat to go out on a day trip.
TZ marine is the marina boat mechanic who services the boat.
Engines were originally built by Cobra in Miami, and another engine builder has rebuilt the motors to their specification.
Drives were completely rebuilt by TNT in Miami (the best Mercury SSM drive mechanics is the USA) about 10 hours ago.
Interior is spacious and restored
All the seating and lining replaced with leather
Galley has newer cabinets, counter top, sink and microwave
Upgraded Head
Forward V-Berth refurbished
Accessories Replaced: Interior Lighting, A/C, Entertainment System, Beverage Refrigerator
There are entertainment electronics like a huge 7 amp stereo, CD, iPod integration, Sirius Radio, 2 TV's, Xbox PlayStation.
Marine electronics are pretty basic: marine radio, GPS speedometer, Horizon GPS
There is an intercom system for headsets.
Cobra 750 HP Engines were rebuilt by TZ Marine a specialized High-Performance Shop.
