The IST is a fly-by-wire technology that replaces traditional control cables with electronic actuators managing throttle and reverse bucket functions, communicating directly with the engine's ECM for smoother and more precise operation. On the water, the Scarab 255 HO demonstrated smooth handling in no-wake zones, maintaining a straight course without the slow-speed wandering common to other jet boats.
