The boat is very comfortable for cruising, with plenty of ventilation and light. Berths and accommodations are very generous so that you feel like you are on a much larger boat. When you hit the race course, you have nothing to fear. The light displacement allows the boat to perform in the lightest of air, and also perform like a champion when the wind comes up and you are surfing downwind with the spinnaker! Anywhere you see a Santa Cruz 52 racing you see them at the front of the fleet.
