The Santa Barbara yachts were produced from 1963-1974 in Santa Barbara, CA. and were known for their strong, solid fiberglass build (earlier vessels were made from wood). The 55' Flybridge Sportfisher has 2 helm stations - one on the flybridge and one in the cockpit so the captain may easily maneuver the vessel when hooked up. Fully rigged for offshore fishing, this vessel also has numerous rocket launchers and a huge bait tank mounted in the cockpit. This vessel is a proven coastal cruiser with numerous trips between San Diego to Ventura, and two ventures into Mexican waters.
