The 242CC was designed and built for extreme offshore anglers. The 242CC utilizes our exclusive Variable Degree Stepped (VDS) hull to give you the best performing ride while also being the most fuel-efficient hull in its class. The updated helm facing offers more space to accommodate larger flush mount electronics. The larger console headspace makes this a fishing focused and family friendly machine. With the standard 30-gallon transom livewell, fishermen will be able to carry enough bait to give an edge on the competition. Plenty of rod holders, rod storage, tackle storage and toe-rails makes the Sailfish 242CC a total fishing machine. Exterior Design and Deck Layout
The bow area features an optional electric windlass, stainless steel anchor with polished roller, and dedicated anchor rode cleats that help maintain boat position at anchor. Helm and Controls

The helm includes a tilt wheel and built-in footrest with additional storage. Standard seating includes two captain’s chairs on pedestals, but optional leaning posts provide enhanced tackle storage and comfort, with the LP4 model offering a wide bench seat and integrated cooler storage. The head compartment is spacious with a bi-fold door, porcelain marine head, built-in sink with pull-out shower, 67 inches of headroom, and ample storage including battery switches and breakers within easy reach.
Power and Performance
The test boat was powered by twin Yamaha 150-horsepower outboards with 13 3/4 by 19-inch propellers. At wide-open throttle (5,900 RPM), it achieved a top speed of 52.2 miles per hour. The most efficient cruising speed was found at 3,000 RPM, where the boat traveled 20.4 miles per hour while burning 7.8 gallons per hour, yielding a range of 342 statute miles with a 10% fuel reserve.
