1971 Sailcraft Iroquois MkII - 30 Sailing Catamaran
Amor Fati is a classic Sailcraft Iroquois MkII built in 1971 in the UK and underwent a complete ground-up rebuild in 2014 which resulted in modernized, simplified systems as well as significant weight reduction. This hull design has achieved a cult following since the last of the 300 or so of them were built in the 1960s and 1970s. The design is tough, fast and very capable - most of these boats are still on the water today and many have circumnavigated multiple times; one of them actually won the grueling ââ?¬Å?Around Great Britain Raceââ?¬ï¿½ in the 1970s. While there are some fine examples of this boat out there, this is by far the fastest and most aesthetically pleasing Iroquois that you will encounter. The boat is currently equipped for warmer weather cruising, but could be easily readied for colder climates depending on the requirements of its next owner.
