Other Sabre boats for sale in Massachusetts, United States
One of Sabre's most successful models and the one that put them "on the map" in the Express Cruiser market is the 36' that was produced from 1996 to 2006. The 36' went through a design change in 2000 and is now referred to as the MK-11. The bottom skeg was removed, the deadrise increased to 18-degrees and the prop pockets introduced. The design change was to handle the increase in power plants that were becoming available to make her a better riding and more fuel efficient boat. The original 300hp Cats cruised at a comfortable 20-knots. Now, with the new bottom and a "most desirable" upgraded power plant Yanmar 370hp she cruises at around 27-knots and tops out at 30-knots.
Her topsides remained the same with the classic downeast profile that still turns heads as she approaches any harbor entrance. The Flag Blue hull is the color of choice with the classic Sabre White and Beige contrasting non-skid.
