Super Comfortable and a Very Manageable Size
The Sabre 34 features a modified "V" planing hull design with shallow prop pockets, 23 degree deadrise amidships and 16 degree aft. The molded composite hull is built utilizing knitted biaxial e-glass with vacuum bagged foam core in hull bottom and topsides. There is a foam/plywood cored fiberglass stringer system and PVC rub rails with stainless striker plates. Topsides are Awlgrip Flag Blue with gold cove, double white boot stripes, and red bottom.
The molded composite deck features knitted biaxial structural e-glass reinforcements with balsa coring and Nida-Core used in areas above engine room. Sabre white NPG gelcoat with beige contrasting non-skid.
The interior below is finished with all cherry satin finished joiner work including solid trim and hull ceilings, paneled cabin door, louvered cabinet doors and solid drawer fronts. Cabin soles are varnished teak and holly, and headliners are soft fabric panels. The layout is well thought out, featuring a large convertible L-settee to starboard with varnished cherry coffee table, Ultraleather upholstery and storage beneath. There are lockers and a shelf outboard, and on the aft bulkhead a double louvered cabinet door conceals the main switch panel and other controls. An opening port, deck hatch and the main companionway provide excellent light and ventilation.
Forward and separated by partial bulkheads and a curtain is the master stateroom with centerline queen berth designed relatively low for easy access with storage below including four drawers. Outboard each side are lockers and an open shelf with removable fiddle. Starboard aft is a large cedar lined hanging locker with outboard shelf, while port aft is a LCD TV mounted on swivel bracket and concealed DVD player. Below is a Dometic AC/DC Refrigerator/Freezer to supplement the unit on helm deck. Two opening ports and an overhead hatch provide natural light and ventilation.
