She has had numerous upgrades in the last three�including a Freedom dinghy lift mounted under the teak swim platform with a new automatic lock. The teak cockpits molded-in seating has new cushions and Sunbrella coverings and a new Sureshade with custom Sunbrella fabric, just to name a few.
The deck hatch is large with nice stairs leading to the engine room.
Up one step through the stainless steel bi-fold door is the spacious salon. To port is a small love seat sofa that at the push of a button moves out for stair access to the third stateroom with queen size berth with a new mattress, seating, wet head and washer/dryer.
In the main salon, large L-shaped sofa to starboard with a beautiful high gloss teak table and opposing settee enhance the entertaining space. Forward at the helm are dual Stidd seats on top of a custom built cabinet that houses the ice maker and storage versus the standard single helm seat on a pedestal. The helm is laid out perfectly for both the captain and mate. Opposite, a corner settee offers more seating for guests. With large windows all around, electric sunroof, and an opening side door for tossing a quick line to the dock - this layout has it all.
Open stairs lead to a sun washed galley to port with great storage and high end appliances.
Opposite is the spacious master stateroom. The athwartship berth offers full walk around space, hanging cedar lockers, drawers and cabinets and ambient light. The master head has a full stall shower trimmed out with accenting tiles on the walls and floors. The owners opted for a recessed sink to get the most counter space possible.
Forward in the companionway to port is the day head that is shared with the guest stateroom in the bow. The bow stateroom has a center-line queen berth, plenty of storage and lockers.
The Sabre 48 was created using the latest in technology with resin infused hull and super structure. This provides a stronger and more durable structure and saves weight too. The Sabre 48 Cruises 27 - 29 knots and tops out about 34 knots. The boat is incredibly quiet at the helm and a very comfortable ride. She is equipped with the Cummins QSC 550 hp engines coupled to the Zeus pod drives for amazing handling underway and docking. The maintenance on this boat is outstanding.
