Berthed on the brackish waters of the Pamlico River in Washington, NC, the "My Girl" is a fine example of the popular Sabre 42 Salon Express model.
Custom ordered through us originally with the all the right options (including factory deleted toerail), she has 163 hours on her 2019 engines and PODs.
"My Girl" had an engine incident in January of 2018, and took on water into the engine room and lazzarette areas. Because of this water intrusion, she was brought to us to put her back into top notch condition. She does not have a salvage title, as the damage did not warrant such. Here are the main items that were replaced:
- New 2019 Cummins QSB 6.7 380hp diesels
- New 2019 Zeus pods
- New 2019 Onan 9kw generator
- New battery charger
- New Mercury solid state compass
- New water heater
- New fresh water pump
- New fan and control board on A/C unit
- New A/C seawater pump
- New isolation transformer
- All new batteries
- All new battery cables
- All new battery switches
- New shore power control
- New engine motor mounts
- New AC and DC wiring where needed
- New starboard exhaust tube and hoses
- New air compressor and tank for horns
- New engine ECMs
- New oil change system
?Water did not come up to or over any of the floors in the boat. The boat had 216 original hours on her at that point, and was maintained with the utmost care and it shows. The generator has full warranty through April 2024.
"My Girl" has been used for 3 seasons since this incident and has performed flawlessly. She is ready for someone else to enjoy her.
