The hull is design is “Vee” with 24-degree deadrise amidships and 17degrees at transom. v Resin Infused laminate with ISO NPG white gelcoat and blended vinylester back-up resin. E-Glass Reinforcements SAN corecell in hull bottom and topsides. Foam/plywood cored fiberglass stringer system. Decks and hardtop composite are VIP resin infused, knitted Biaxial Structural E-glass Reinforcements with balsa coring. Decks are Molded in anti-skid deck surfaces, and windows are recessed into hard top. Low profile polished hatches w/screens (2) #44 on fordeck, (2) #10 port and starboard and custom stainless steel opening ports.

From swim platform enter cockpit from port or starboard transom gates. Across the transom is a large seating area facing forward. The seating area will electronically move aft extending the size of the cockpit should you like a larger entertaining area while at rest and will also allow extra access to the in deck engine hatch that exposes the large engine compartment. Forward of the aft seating area is a double aft facing seat against the aft bulkhead for great conversation area. The aft bulkhead and door are glass and stainless with a large window on the port side.

The social spaces of the Sabre 38 are extraordinary in tht they truly bring the our-of doors inside: Large opening side windows, an Optional very large overhead sun roof electrically operated and electrically operated aft window and bi-fold door all maximize the light and air entering the cabin. This beautifully furnished space is one that everyone can be a part of the gathering. The salon seating to port is raised so that when underway, everyone has a clear view of their surroundings. The elegant inlaid salon table is the centerpiece of the salon’s beautiful woodwork. Sabre uses cool LED lighting in the overhead panels to reduce heat in the yacht’s interior and reduces generator use when laying at the anchor. Soft headliner panels absorb noise, and elegant cherry trim throughout the boat speaks to the craftmanship for which Sabre Yachts is so well known. To starboard, a long cabinet features a pop-up television and multiple storage spaces. Below the settees, to port, there are additional opportunities for storage or for the Optional ice maker.

Many of the advantages of the Salon Express style can be found at the helm. Excellent sight lines are a result of a careful study of the helm ergonomics and of the design of the surfaces which allow the Sabre 38 to run at just 3.5 degree up from her resting state. A significant feature of the Sabre is the Volvo Glass Cockpit system. This control and navigational system includes Volvo-Penta trim tabs, a large Garmin/Volvo multi-function display and Volvo IPS joystick mounted on the outboard arm rest. A Stidd helm chair is without peer when it comes to comfort and support for crews making long passages.  

The Helm Station is positioned in the Forward Starboard side of the Salon, offering Excellent visibility at all vessel speeds and on same level as guest seating and allowing great visibility and comfort. There is also a wing door from the helm station that allows quick access to decks and good communications to those assisting with lines when docking.

Four steps down form the helm deck is a lower lounge which converts to a full-size double berth. An optional hull port is available to add natural light to the space. (OPTIONAL port is on this vessel). This quiet and private spot is an excellent place to curl-up with a good book or your favorite boating magazine or it can be an extra cabin when friends and family join you aboard. The lounge has a privacy curtain and a pullout sleeping space. The optional rectangular Hull-Side window brings in beautiful natural light to the area. From the lounge area there is a large cabinet door that opens up huge storage that is under the salon deck.

A well-equipped galley is located aft of the master stateroom. The bulkhead between these two spaces has a television for the master stateroom mounted on its forward surface. This divider can be closed for privacy and deploy the television for the master stateroom.
