Only used seasonably in New England, this a very nicely kept example of the Sabre 36 Flybridge with the desired Extended Hard Top option. Powered by twin Yanmars for reliable and economical operation and fully equipped with everything you need for a turn key cruise.
Extremely economical cruise of 21kt at 20gph at 2600rpm for just under 300nm range.
Her knowledgeable owners have continuously maintained and upgraded this 36 and it shows...A recent full flybridge enclosure is just one example. I encourage your inspection...please contact me for full details...
This Sabre 36 has the sought-after Extended Hard Top arrangement with an extension of the command bridge sole covering the open areas of the cockpit. This extension provides a shady, protected area for relaxing and socializing and even a little fishing with the built-in rod holders. A wet bar is standard as well as a transom door and fiberglass swim platform. The flybridge is accessed via a staircase from the cockpit – critical for safe passage to the bridge in any weather, a sliding cover encloses the bridge steps providing full coverage below and safe footing above. Side decks are wide and safe with a full length welded SS bow rail and handholds.
The flybridge sight lines are excellent in every direction and seating comfort has been maximized with fully adjustable helm seats (new footrests) for the captain and mate as well as a bench seat behind the helm seat. Engine controls and a full suite of electronics face the captain while a large covered chart table facing the mate’s chair. The bridge is protected by a new full enclosure with zip out windows all around.
Enter the main salon thru a locking door with screen situated to starboard. Large opening windows lend a sense of spaciousness to the luxurious interior. Attention to detail is evident throughout and the cherry woodwork is expertly crafted and finished further enhancing the sense of luxurious yet practical comfort. An L-shaped settee is to port with an adjustable hi-low table for cocktail or dinner. The lower helm boasts great sight lines as well and provides a comfortable steering station when the weather is too uncomfortable to be on the bridge. A side door is at the helm for easy dockage or simply enjoying the breeze while underway.
Moving forward and down three steps, the galley is to port and since the overhead is open to the main salon, the cook never feels isolated. The galley is fully equipped for overnights or extended cruising. A unique feature on this 36 is the propane cooktop - no need to run the generator on the hook when cooking! Undercounter refrigerator, microwave, double sink and plenty of counterspace complete the picture.
The head is molded in white gelcoat for a bright, contemporary feel that’s easy to keep clean. A Corian counter tops the vanity with storage outboard and underneath. A separate stall shower with revolving door is surprisingly spacious and there’s even a wet locker outboard of the shower stall.
The master stateroom is forward and features the desired centerline pedestal berth for comfortable, spacious sleeping. Cherry cabinets, under-berth drawers, and cedar lined hanging lockers provide lots of storage options. Opening stainless portlights and an opening overhead hatch add natural light and ventilation.
