Accommodations
The interior has cherry cabinetry and bulkheads and a teak and holly sole throughout. There is a center island master berth with a new custom-built queen mattress forward, cabinets outboard and under the berth, and a cedar-lined hanging locker. The stainless steel opening portholes and overhead hatch provide light and ventilation when the air conditioning is not in use. The head is aft to port with a double entry from the stateroom and the main salon. In the head there is a Corian vanity sink with hot and cold water, an electric head, and a shower. Next is the main salon with a U-shaped dinette (that converts to a double berth) and a cherry dining table with inlaid birds-eye maple. There are shelves outboard and storage under the dinette. A flat screen television is located on the forward starboard bulkhead. GULF KART lll has a full U-shaped sea galley with Corian countertops to port. Up three steps to the helm deck is her command station to starboard with a mahogany tilt steering wheel, full electronics console, and Stidd Ultraleather captain's chair. To port is the comfortable raised L-settee with a pedestal teak table. There are opening windows on all three sides of the helm deck. Down one step is the roomy aft cockpit bench seat along the transom, and an aft facing bench seat.
