Other Sabre boats for sale in Florida, United States
For those of you in the hunt for a shoal draft boat from a quality builder, look no further than this beautifully maintained Sabre 34 MKII. DISCOVERY will give you just 4 feet of draft with her board up, 7 feet 4 inches with it down, and the joy of owning a boat where everything has been done right. If you subscribe to the adage that "You're buying the owner as much as you're buying the boat," then you've come to the right place to be impressed. DISCOVERY's interior is as close to "factory fresh" as you'll find on a 1989 model anything. Her owners are so conscientious that even the gear that they store off the boat is neatly arranged in labeled bins (if you don't believe it, take a look at the pictures!). Since buying her in 1998, they sailed summers, storing her on the hard each winter from October to May in New Jersey under a boat cover, and removing all of the electronics and cushions and storing them indoors. By 2011, DISCOVERY was in Deltaville, Virginia, where she was stored on the hard for a year before heading to Florida, arriving in Jacksonville three years ago. DISCOVERY has cruised as far north as Camden, Maine, and as far south as the Abacos. Everything you can think of in the way of cruising gear will convey with DISCOVERY's sale. Her Westerbeke engine, at 2000 hours, has years of service life left, her canvas dodger and bimini still do their jobs well, and her hull bottom got a fresh barrier coat as recently as 2014. All in all, DISCOVERY will put her next owner way, way ahead of the game when it comes to prepping for a worry-free cruise.
