LAYOUT

DESTINY is the ultimate express cruising layout. She has an ample cockpit with a folding transom seat, a fixed aft facing seat, steps up to the side decks and a transom door to the large swim platform. The aft enclosure, new in 2025, can be left closed when desired or fully removed for a more open feel and to integrate the cockpit with the pilothouse.

The side decks are quite wide, and the bow rail extends well aft, so one feels quite secure moving forward. The bow rail extends out around the anchor platform. There is a large locker aft of the chain locker, accessed from the foredeck. In the cockpit one finds storage under the aft facing seat and in a cabinet to starboard. A large hinged panel opens in the cockpit sole to accrue access to the bilge and a vast storage area.

The pilothouse is a great arrangement, and includes separate Stidd seats for the helms person and their "companion". The helm seat is a pedestal version with armrests and a folding foot rest. The port seat is a fixed mount with a sliding back, which allows the settee behind it to be extended. There is a folding foot rest for this seat too.

Aft of the helm seat is the galley, which has a two burner Princess electric stove (under a hinged cover), a Stainless Steel sink with faucet, Corian counters, 4 drawers, a shelved locker, and a Dometic microwave. There is a Dometic fridge with freezer in this area (and a second fridge in the cabin).

Behind the port seat is the settee, which an L shape across the aft section. A Cherry table on a pedestal serves for dining and general use.

Ventilation is provided by two sliding side windows, two overhead hatches (with OceanAir screens and sun blocks), and an electric opening center windshield. The Pilothouse has a dedicated air conditioning/heat unit with a control near the helm.

There is a day hatch in the pilothouse sole to provide access to the engine room, and the entire pilothouse sole has an electric opening mechanism for fantastic access when more space is needed.

Going down the steps (which are not steep, and are hinged for additional storage) to the salon, one finds an L-shaped settee to starboard, with a cocktail height cherry table that can be used with a fitted cushion to expand the settee as a berth. There is generous storage both behind and below the settee, as well as cabinetry and a book shelf above the settee. There is a large polished stainless opening port above the steel, as well as a hatch in the overhead. Two glass shaded reading lamps are above the settee, in addition to the overhead lighting.

The master electrical panel and other electrical controls are above the aft section of the settee, behind hinged doors. Opposite to port is the head, with sink, vanity, Jabsco Electric head, and a separate stall shower, There is a wet locker with coat hooks outboard of the shower, and storage outboard of the vanity and below the vanity. A cherry framed mirror is above the vanity. There is a polished stainless opening port in this area, as well as an overhead hatch.

Forward of the head is a raised cabinet with the second fridge in it. Above this is the Insignia Television, on a swivel mount so that it can be seen from wither the forward berth or the salon settee. The large centerline berth is raised, with easy access from either side. There are two glass shaded reading lamps ar the forward end of the berth. Four drawers are foundbelow this berth, and five cabinets are lining the hull to Port (3) and starboard (2). There is also cedar lined hanging locker one the starboard side.

Two polished stainless opening ports provide ventilation and there is an overhead hatch above the berth. The interior has it's own air conditioning unit for both cooling and heat.
