Broker's Remarks
If you are in the mood for a true downeaster, but are budget minded, have a look at this 34' Robert Rich. Built at the Bass Harbor Boat Shop, this one is cedar planked over oak frames. The entire hull has been refastened with silicone bronze fasteners. She sports a gloss varnished Mahogany transom and a traditional layout with port and starboard settees. There is a December '04 insurance survey verifying a sound hull, deck and house. There is no reported rot. ...and everything works. Save a ton of money and own this boat for a fraction of the cost of a new one.
