This 19' Riva was restored over 3 years by Wilson Custom Marine of Stuart, FL as the one and only "Rudy" in existence of its kind exemplifying Riva's transition from all wood to fiberglass.
All hardware is original Riva. All running and mechanical equipment was upgraded to include a new Yanmar 240hp engine, transmission, shafts, rudder, propeller, seal, exhaust, gauges, wiring, steering mechanism, etc. - all without losing the Riva mystique.
The boat was built so that it could be used everyday without the worry and fuss of maintaining 40 year old equipment.
There is photo documentation of every step of the rebuilt/refurbishment. The project was undertaken without a budget or time cap. She has a $ 20,000+ matching trailer.
She has a total of 7 hours since completion. Until the 2014 Stuart Boat Show, she was never in salt water although all was built to withstand any environment.
