This is a Philip L. Rhodes (world renowned naval architect) Swiftsure 33, built by Amsterdam shipyards Ltd., G.deVries Lentsch Jr. in Europe, of very high quality construction. This is one of 150 built. She has been maintained over the years and has never been neglected.
"Rana" has a fiberglass hull and deck with a powerful mast head rig. Everything is ready to go. Check out this superb classic stored inside it's entire life. Owned by only three separate sailors in all this time. She has traditional mahogany hatch covers, toe rails, hand rails and cockpit coamings. The mast and boom are sitka spruce and finished bright, as they should be. This is a full keel with centerboard, therefore shallow draft for the North Channel. Check out what timeless classic design is all about. There may be four or five of these boats in all of the Great Lakes.
