This is your chance to own an iconic yacht (listed in the Yacht Registry) of historic value. This yacht was designed by naval architect Philip L. Rhodes and built with top shelf quality components at Henry B. Nevins yard at City Island New York. She was custom built for the son of Thomas Lamont, partner of JP Morgan known as "The Fox of Wall Street". She was refit in 1994 to include engines and the removal of all bronze metal for re-chroming. The quality of her build shows everywhere you look from the chrome plated bronze fixtures, gleaming teak bright work to the copper upholstery tacks. Since 1958 she has sailed only three months a year by her current second owner; she is otherwise stored in her own railway boat house. With her rakish, streamlined look, she is typical of post World War II styling. Although primarily designed as a day cruiser, she has complete cruising (estimated 90 nautical miles) accommodations. She was repainted in 2020 and the finish is incredible. She can continue service as a day cruiser or would make a great yacht or yacht club tender. She has been meticulously maintained and it shows. This yacht is "eye popping" at any dock. They don't make them like they used to...
