This 2020 Release 240 RX combines the fishing capabilities of a well-equipped center console with comfortable seating and amenities for family cruising. Powered by a Yamaha F250 four-stroke outboard, this 24-foot boat offers a versatile layout for fishing, exploring coastal waterways, and enjoying time on the water.
At the helm, twin captain's seats with folding armrests face dual Simrad multifunction displays, Yamaha instrumentation, a Simrad VHF radio, lighted compass, trim-tab controls, and stainless-steel push-button switches. A Fusion Bluetooth stereo provides entertainment throughout the day.
Overhead, the two-tone fiberglass hardtop provides shade and incorporates an electronics box, LED lighting, forward and aft spreader lights, and integrated rod storage.
Fishing equipment includes a 35-gallon aerated livewell, an in-floor fish box, gunwale rod holders, recessed rod and gaff storage, raw-water washdown, tackle storage, and additional storage compartments throughout the cockpit and bow.
Forward, cushioned bow seating with backrests provides a comfortable area for passengers, with storage underneath. The anchor locker and windlass simplify anchoring, while recessed bow rails help maintain a clean, open layout.
Aft, the bench seat features individually folding seatbacks, allowing the cockpit to transition between passenger seating and additional working space. A side-entry door with a stowaway ladder provides convenient access from the dock or water.
Additional features include hydraulic steering, cockpit bolsters, LED cockpit and under-gunwale lighting, a stainless-steel rub rail, acrylic windshield, porta-potty-equipped head compartment, and stainless-steel propeller.
The seller reports that the boat was detailed before the current photographs were taken, subsequently removed from the water, and has seen very limited use since. It has been stored out of the water and covered.
With Yamaha four-stroke power, dual Simrad electronics, substantial fishing equipment, comfortable seating, and a practical center-console layout, this Release 240 RX is worth considering for both fishing and family recreation.
