Designed by the internationally acclaimed Reichel Pugh design team with versatility and performance as essential design prerequisites, this Reichel Pugh offers the ultimate in thoroughbred performance and provides winning credentials. Siesta has many new features; new sails include: Sobstad Pebtex Mainsail, TriRadial 155% Headsail, BX15 (60%) / BX10 (40%) Stealth Film Black Aramid Laminates from Dimension-Polyant and X-HP 165% Asymmetrical Spinnaker, .75 Oz, and Racing Harken Roller Furling system. The deck is freshly painted with non-skid and the hull was painted in 2013. All the rod rigging was replaced in 2012. For a 1992 vessel, she is still competitive.
Winches are all custom titanium self-tailing and work well although springs need replacement, B&G package could use upgrading and runners could be changed out to lighter line vs. cable but they are in good working order.
