The R27 has a published length of over 31' and is set up for comfortable cruising. The trawler-style ship has a modified-V hull, which combined with its 300 HP Yamaha 4-stroke outboard, cruises at just under 20 MPH and tops out at about 40 MPH. You can cruise efficiently or make tracks to your next destination.
Bring the whole crew, this Ranger has the capacity to sleep up to 6. Or, use the extra space for storage so you can go longer and farther. The 150-gallon fuel tank makes this one a true long-distance cruiser. At traditional trawler speeds the Ranger accomplishes over 3 MPG and at a high-teens cruise speed, it gets over 2 MPH.
The galley is equipped with a LP stove, microwave, refrigerator and nice cabinet space. A grill and sink are built into the aft deck for additional cooking and a second refrigerator is built into the port side gunnel on the deck.
For the captain, the helm of this great cruiser is set up with a large Garmin multi-function displace, Garmin radar, autopilot, and a Standard Horizon VHF radio. The bow thruster is controlled at the helm panel.
This Ranger is outfitted with 4 Dakota lithium house batteries and a solar charging system. The engine and bow truster batteries are separate.
