The R27 has nearly 50 Sq ft of aft deck space making the cockpit 25 percent larger than the original R25. This allows for easy access to the 200 HP Volvo diesel and keeps the engine noise out of the cabin. The larger cockpit also lends itself to more above and below deck storage. The std mid-ship cabin has been replaced with built-in additional factory seating to allow for more guest space in the cabin when day boating. The dinette table is on a hydraulic piston that allows for an easy conversion to a berth or lounging area. The spacious front v-berth sleeps two adults and is over 6'5" in length. Cooks will love the standard galley which includes a sink, refrigerator, inverter, microwave and a combination propane stove/oven. There was an additional seat and foot rest added in the galley on stbd for addl cabin seating. This can be removed if desired, but will leave holes in the galley countertop. The marine head is standard as is glass vessel sink and shower.
