Sparky is a fresh water 2018, one owner since new R-23 powered by 200 HP Yamaha outboard with only 346 engine hours. The first thing you will notice when looking at the R-23 is the dramatic, curved windshield and visor, which is emphasized by several overhead skylights. There is no shortage of light or visibility onboard the R-23, which incorporates four opening roof hatches, sliding side windows, and an opening glass bulkhead, providing a very open and airy feeling inside and out. Opening portlights also allow for a nice cross breeze in the cabin. Dockside Air Conditioning and 30 amp shorepower cord.
The forward cabin on the R-23 has plenty of room for sitting around the teak table, separate sleeping for two or sleeping two together with the filler-cushion. The mid berth is great for storage or pets/kids, The dinette in the salon converts to a sleeper or pit couch. The galley on the R-23 is standard with refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, and microwave. The forward head includes a marine toilet with holding tank, shower, sink, and mirror. Sparky updated the teak head door to a bi-folding orientation which is a space saver.
Sparky has the Garmin 7610 GPS with Depth Sounder/Fish Finder. Radar is not currently on the boat, but can be added easily. Marine VHF radio, illuminated compass, cabin nightlight, cockpit and exterior side trail lighting, and Ranger Tugs built-in safety trailering lights (brake, turn, and reverse) are all standard equipment making the R-23 ready to cruise and trailer (note: Trailer is not included with this boat but RYS can order an Integrity bunk aluminum trailer if needed). The cockpit on the R-23 is built to entertain with fold down double seat, and cockpit table. The Reversing salon dinette seat becomes a great cockpit facing mezzanine seat also.
Sparky is inside heated winter storage until mid April (projected launch date) in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Customer has documented service of boat and if required an out of water marine survey is possible prior to launch date. The bottom is being painted this off-season and is included in the price of the boat.
