Overview
The inspection begins at the bow, highlighting several thoughtful design choices that enhance both functionality and comfort. The bow features a deep foot well and offers the option to install a table, providing a versatile space for passengers. Instead of traditional bolsters, Pursuit has opted for large storage compartments on both the port and starboard sides within the gunwales, maximizing storage capacity. Additional amenities include USB ports in the port cubby and recessed grab rails surrounding the area. The seats are finished with diamond stitching, lending an upscale appearance, and a filler cushion forward creates a facing seat arrangement. An optional Mediterranean awning receptacle is conveniently located on the foredeck.
Exterior Features and Deck Layout
The forward hatch is finished on both sides, reflecting the high caliber of the boat's craftsmanship. The bow is equipped with an optional Lumar windlass paired with an 8-inch cleat for the anchor rode. Standard anchoring gear includes 10 feet of chain and 150 feet of half-inch line. Freshwater fill and holding tank pump-out plates are positioned just aft of the anchor windlass on the starboard side. An optional four-step beach reboarding ladder is available, a notable feature that allows passengers to board from the water without getting their clothes wet, which is unusual for this class of boat.
Windshield and Helm Design
A distinctive and functional design element is found in the windshield configuration. The windshield panels on both sides of the passage do not extend fully to the edges, which increases passage space and reduces the likelihood of clothing snagging. An optional pantograph windshield wiper can be operated from inside the helm area, enhancing visibility in adverse conditions. The center windshield features a double-connected lock system for secure closure. The hardtop is robustly supported by four powder-coated supports, with optional crossing bars on top that serve as sturdy handholds. The helm seat is pedestal-mounted with six fasteners securing it to the deck, allowing it to swivel and move fore and aft. It is also equipped with a bolster for leaning, and there is ample clearance between the operator and the steering wheel, ensuring ergonomic comfort.
