Overview

The Pursuit ST310 is a premium fishing boat designed with a focus on functionality, durability, and ergonomic comfort. Its construction and design features reflect a high standard of quality, making it suitable for serious anglers who value both performance and convenience.

Helm Console and Ergonomics

The helm console of the Pursuit ST310 is thoughtfully engineered for ease of maintenance and operator comfort. Accessing the back of the panel is simple, requiring only the release of two latches to pull the console forward, revealing the entire rear for repairs or electronic installations. The console is sealed with robust latch hardware and a full gasket to prevent moisture intrusion, while wiring is routed through a large, chafe-protected conduit. The layout offers three feet of clear panel space, a full row of rocker switches with circuit breakers, and conveniently positioned digital controls. The stainless steel Edson steering wheel includes a knob and is mounted on a tilt base, with the compass aligned directly in front of the operator for optimal visibility. The footrest is designed for comfort, allowing the captain to stand with feet tucked in close. Companion seating is double-wide with separate back supports and ventilated lumbar areas, each side equipped with flip-down bolsters and armrests. The captain’s seat is single-wide and equally comfortable, complemented by a frameless windshield that provides unobstructed forward views. Under the helm seat, pull-out tackle storage drawers are housed in a compartment that can be fully removed by removing two pins, granting access to fuel tank shutoff valves and hoses.

Cockpit Features and Storage

The cockpit area is designed for both comfort and utility. It features out-facing seats with supports for the hardtop that double as armrests and grab rails. One seat conceals a 17-gallon fiberglass insulated cooler, while the other offers extensive storage including a rod rack for four seven-foot rods. A 20-gallon lighted insulated live well with a fiberglass cover is positioned just inside the cockpit, accompanied by a sink with a Corian cover above it. Padded bolsters surround the cockpit, rising 27 inches to provide protection and comfort. The cockpit measures 22.8 square feet, with three-across seating against the transom. Underneath these seats, premium construction is evident with four-inch stainless hinges and stainless struts facilitating effortless hatch lifting. The compartment houses main battery switches, circuit breakers, and removable panels that expose house and engine start batteries. Heavy-duty hoses connected to bronze through-hole fittings with ball valves and double clamps serve as dual cockpit deck drains, a feature repeated on both sides. Additionally, a large 39-gallon storage tub with stainless steel grab handles conceals a quick-connect fitting linked to a fire hose and an overboard drain. Access to the bilge area allows easy servicing of bilge pumps, and the main electrical connections are insulated for saltwater protection. A 20-amp battery charger is also installed. Fuel filter water separators, the power steering pump, and connections to live wells are all easily accessible.

Interior Console Accommodations

Forward-facing seats at the helm are split to allow entry through a door into the interior console. The door is built with heavy-duty hardware including a massive stainless steel hinge, stainless gas strut, grab handle, and a secure latch, exemplifying the boat’s over-engineered approach. Inside the console, three holders for dive tanks and dedicated storage for the cockpit table are provided. Stainless steel port lights offer natural light and ventilation, while the entire compartment is fiberglass-lined for durability. A hatch covers a porcelain pump-out toilet, and a stainless steel sink is conveniently located nearby.

Conclusion

The Pursuit ST310 stands out as a premium fishing boat with meticulous attention to detail in both design and construction. Its ergonomic helm, extensive storage solutions, and robust build quality make it well-suited for anglers seeking a reliable and comfortable platform. Features such as easy access to mechanical components, insulated live wells, and thoughtfully designed interior accommodations underscore the boat’s commitment to functionality and durability.
