The Pursuit 3000 Express is a versatile performer that offers a smooth, dry ride even in the roughest weather. Designed to serve dual duty, she is both a rugged seaworthy fishing boat and an elegant cruiser. On deck, a wide-open cockpit with aft seating give fisherman comfort and control. The captain and crew are protected from the elements by a full-height windshield and enclosure offering clear sight lines. Other features include excellent nonskid, stainless steel rod holders and racks under the gunwale, an insulated livewell and macerated fish box with overboard drain, fresh and raw water washdowns, aft folding bench seat, and a hinged transom door. Belowdecks, there is generous headroom and the interior displays luxury fabrics, teak trim, holly solid wood flooring, and can sleep up to four adults. The cabin features a fully equipped galley with a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. The Pursuit 3000 Express is an excellent rough-water express fisher that will get you to and from the fishing grounds with speed and style.
This 2001 Pursuit 3000 Express has been kept in fantastic condition since new and has also had its mechanical components completely redone. The seller wanted to make the vessel a near perfect SoCal express fisher, and the final product speaks for itself. The components on this vessel were not fixed or maintained, they were replaced and upgraded to new. The boat was repowered in 2020. The repower was completed with exact factory replacement Mercury Horizon 350 MPI crate engines. All mechanical and electrical systems were replaced or rebuilt using new components. The engine room was stripped, cleaned, sanded, and repainted. All of the various system pumps were replaced in 2020 except the raw water washdown pump which was replaced in Oct. 2024. A new bait system (Pacific Edge 80 gallon tank) was added to the center of the cockpit with improved flow, side windows, and interior light. The drain and pump system outlets were replaced with bronze through hulls. Racor fuel filters were installed and the fuel tanks were polished in 2022. A full set of New electronics were added to the vessel including a stabilized transducer. New Bottom paint was added in July, 2024 leaving this 2001 Pursuit 3000 Express freshly serviced and in turn key condition.
