The Pursuit 2800 Offshore offers serious fishermen the versatility of a center console and the security of a walkaround. The 2800's innovative hull design with a fully-integrated transom and extended running surface increases performance while ensuring a smooth, controlled ride. The large cockpit features the Pursuit Plus transom which includes a bait and tackle rigging station, a removable cutting board, freshwater sink and large fish box. Ample rod storage is provided under the gunwale and in the cabin. Four Lee's rod holders, tackle lockers and fresh and raw water washdowns complete the package. The command center features a tilt-away helm with flush-mount electronics compatibility and excellent access to wiring. A leaning post, forward console seat with cooler and starboard jump seat allow all passengers to be seated in comfort for long runs offshore. The leaning post also incorporates rocket launchers and a 26-gallon circulating livewell. A comfortable cabin coddles the crew with stylish fabrics, a marine head, a day galley with top-loading icebox, portable butane stove, pressure water, sink and a convertible V-berth table. The meticulous attention to detail starts with a painstaking approach to the tooling and maintenance of production molds. Both the critical gel and skin-coats are applied in an exclusive Pursuit process which results in a higher luster and added protection against blistering. Because of these extra precautions, Pursuit provides owners a five-year warranty against gelcoat blistering. The fiberglass lay-up is done precisely, by hand, using strong, lightweight biaxial materials that enhance durability, performance and fuel efficiency. Stringer systems, fully encapsulated from keel to chine, are installed while the hull is in the mold to assure a true hull shape. And each fiberglass laminate area is cut to fit its particular section of the hull to assure a precise consistency in thickness, weight, shape and strength. As a result of ergonomic engineering, everything fits perfectly in place inside each Pursuit. That's why all the special features, from fresh water sinks, cutting boards, livewells and fish boxes, to tackle drawers, wash down spigots and transom doors, seem to be located exactly where they should be. Every Pursuit meets or exceeds every US Coast Guard requirement and is certified by the National Marine Manufacturers Association.
