The Privilege 37, designed by Marc Lombard, built by Alliaura Marine and introduced in 1996, is a stylish and solidly made cruiser with a very good all-round reputation including for liveaboard and long distance cruising. The boat has a central main 'owners' cabin forward of the saloon and two guest cabins aft in the hulls. The saloon has large windows giving excellent views, and extensive woodwork throughout the interior eminates a homely feeling. A cruiser with generous internal volume and load carrying capacity. However, a lot of attention has been paid to the hydrodynamic design of the boat in order to optimise speed and motion in all conditions. The result is a seakindly yet responsive boat that tacks easily and accelerates well.
Like other Privilege cats, the 37 has a central nacelle, housing the bridgedeck cabin that extends forward of the bridgedeck. This creates the distinctive U shaped trampolines. Under the nacelle on the 37 is a deflector designed to lessen the effect of waves slapping on to this part of the boat.
Highest quality manufacture and finish blue water catamaran - Class A Ocean - Bureau Veritas certified. Never chartered, 3rd owner
