Washed Sand is one of the cleanest and well cared for Post 50s on the market today, with low engine hours of only 735. The interior is in great shape and the 3-year-old carpet looks like it was just put down. The salon entertainment system is superb with the newer flat screen 42-inch TV and the Bose sound system.
The exterior of the boat had a full Awlgrip paint job in 2008. There is a rib with a 9.9 HP on the bow with a 1000 Marquip davit. There is a newer custom varnished teak table on a pedestal in the cockpit and you do not need to lug around a gas grill as you have a built-in electric grill in the tackle center in the large cockpit.
The three-sided enclosure on the bridge was replaced 5 years ago and sent out to be polished 2 years ago. There have been some upgrades to the bridge electronics also.
This is a one owner boat and is kept on the Charles River 10 months out of 12 since new. All the engine hoses were replaced in 2015 and all service is done by Milton Cat. The owner has all the manuals on board. This Post has not been fished and has never been south.
This Post is priced a little higher than the ones on the market but the condition demands a higher price. This is a must-see Post. I am a 50 Post owner myself, and have owned my 2000 since new and had it custom built by Post. I have never owned a boat this long, and it just shows how much I love mine. I know all about them, so give me a call.
