2013 Soda blasted below water line. All pitting fiber glassed and sanded. Two color ablative applied, base coat black current top coat green. Pullies replaced. New water heater (electric and engine heat). Macerating head installed. (Feed water was salt water head that was later changed to fresh water. Small float bilge pump installed. Hand bilge pump serviced. Fuel tank cleaned. Propane tank installed and auto sniffer shut off installed. Cockpit cushions and covers for winches and sail.
2014 All standing rigging replaced and a Harken roller fuller installed. Large bilge added.
2015 Deck re-cored. Throttle and shift cables replaced. Garmin radar and chart plotter installed cockpit/wind instruments. New Kingston cock installed $30K.
2016 Cutlass replaced and line cutter added. New Standard Horizon radios with MMSI and one button SOS installed. A remote handheld radio mike/speaker in cockpit. Standard Horizon handheld with one button SOS with one year old replacement battery and charger.
2017 Asymmetric spinnaker $1,800.

Aft there is a huge open quarterberth that extends under the cockpit, spacious galley with unusually good storage to port, and a clever combination ice box/chart table to starboard. In the salon there is an offset centerline table which makes moving fore and aft easier, a spacious dinette, which converts to a double berth without using the table, and again, plenty of storage. Further forward, there is a roomy head with shower, and still further forward an exceptionally spacious V-berth area.
Equally important to the cruiser or racer is the boat as a performer. With ample sail area proportioned into a powerful rig, and a contemporary hull with modern appendages.� The Pearson 31-2 was produced between 1987 and 1991. This is the perfect boat for a young family, an experienced sailor looking to downsize, or as an introductory sail boat for someone new to sailing.
