This Pearson 28 was designed for day sailing, racing, and overnight or extended sailing. She has sleeping accommodations for four (2 in vee berth and 2 on salon settees). The cabin sole is textured fiberglass. At the foot of the teak companionway steps to starboard is the galley with stainless steel sink, fresh water foot pump, and ample counter and storage space including top-loaded ice box. The roomy salon has facing settees with trap storage under, fold-down bulkhead-mounted dinette table, and coal/wood-burning wall stove. Forward of the salon and to port is the enclosed head with locker space opposite. Forward is the vee berth with hinged privacy door, trap storage under berths, and forepeak anchor rode storage. The Jamie K has been maintained by her first and present owner who has made sure that this 28 is in wonderful condition. Her repair records are available from a classic Cohasset repair shop. Other upgrades include sails restitched. Wide walkways, a clean foredeck, large winches and a modern but not extreme hull design make this Pearson 28 easy to handle in any sea.
