This 1973, 33 foot Pearson 10M is located in South Amboy, NJ at Lockwood Marina.

The Pearson 10M had a production run from 1973 through 1981.  In that time period over 225 boats were made.  The hull is a one piece hand lay-up with integrally bonded bulkheads.  The deck is a one-piece reinforced fiberglass laminate (hand lay-up with balsa core for stiffness and insulation).

The Pearson 10M was a very popular design. It is a great sailing cruiser/racer. It has a healthy sail plan coupled with abundant stability and this arrangement works well as a fast cruiser or competitive PHRF cruiser/racer.

WINDSWEPT has been maintained by her current owner and recent improvements include re-painting of the hull in a navy blue, and all new interior cushions and cockpit cushions.  She is powered by a YANMAR diesel engine; which has had recent bench test, including a new cutlass bearing, drip less stuffing box, alignment and fixed two bladed prop.  WINDSWEPT is fitted with roller furling and self-tailing primary winches for ease of sail handling.  Her Quantum sails are in good condition and consist of a main and 150% genoa.  WINDSWEPT is a fine boat for a family looking to move up in size for cruising, or the PHRF sailor looking for a rating beater.  To this day, the 10M still has a favorable handicap rating in most areas.  If you are in the market for a proven performer, of solid construction and oversized hardware, then look no further than this affordable 33 footer.
